Starting with my setup: operating system is Windows 11, RAM is 128GB at 3200Mhz. CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X, motherboard is ASUSTeK B550-E gaming card, graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, SSD is 6TB. I'm aiming for at least 120+ fps at 3840x2160 16:9. Currently I manage around 50-70 frames in Diablo 4 and 100+ in World of Warcraft Dragonflight. In cities I see 30-50 frames, but most games run smoothly at 2560x1600 with 150+ fps. At higher resolutions like 3840x2160 it feels blurry and pixelated. I’d prefer normal resolution for sharper visuals. PS, I’m using DriverEasy so drivers should be updated.

Consider lowering your expectations for a 3060 at 4K resolution.

Consider what you need to upgrade into, making sure it works with your current setup.

What power supply do you currently use? What is your spending range? Strong graphics options include the nVidia RTX 3090, 4080, and 4090, as well as the AMD RX 7900XT and RX 7900XTX.

I own an ASUS ROG Strix 750 with a 750W PSU. My budget isn’t too strict, but I’m worried about getting something that works well with my existing setup—a Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB Mid-Tower (white). I’m open to upgrading eventually, but I’d appreciate a recommended upgrade path if possible.

Other upgrade choices include: GPU options like Radeon RX 6800XT, RX 6950XT, RX 7900XT, RTX 3090, RTX 4080, and RTX 4070Ti (though VRAM capacity seems limited), CPU selections such as Ryzen 5800X3D.

At 4K resolution, switching from a 5800X3D to a 5800X3D doesn't add much value.

For heat and noise, I’d suggest the one with better thermal management and lower noise output.

The 7900 xtx offers better value for money, while the 4090 provides superior performance and cooler operation, resulting in reduced noise. However, the choice can vary based on the specific model you receive.

You're asking for suggestions on which models to choose from two options. Let me know the names of the models you're considering, and I can help you decide!
