I generally receive speeds between 90 to 102 Mbps even though the theoretical limit is 100 Mbps. My upload speed is around 2 Mbps while the expected rate is 2 Mbps, so everything seems to function correctly. However, my ping remains high. The network provider finally reached out after about an hour—thanks to the slowdown caused by the Coronavirus and reduced staffing—and they suggested remote solutions. I tried all of them but eventually concluded it might be a problem on their side. They confirmed it won’t work in our area due to an external interference, such as a light bolt affecting a critical part of the network outside. For now, the ping isn’t reliable in our street. The representative said it could be resolved within two days, and I sincerely thank everyone who assisted me.
