Additionally, I observed that after saving bios settings, CSM shuts down automatically.

Did any other drives besides the M.2 and USB connect during the installation? It seems you're missing the boot partition. Reinsert the USB, boot from there as if installing Windows. You should be able to view the drive and its partitions in Windows.

Additionally, during installation I had only the M.2 connected and the USB port attached. I found an image of the SATA drive within the Windows setup tool. The M.2 appears to indicate unallocated space, though I deleted it earlier tonight to check for any problems.

Additionally, I purchased a new USB drive and attempted to use the media creation software, but it doesn’t start up. It displays a light blue screen and the BIOS logo appears repeatedly before powering off. That’s quite strange.

We discussed the M.2 drive. Removing it shouldn’t appear in BIOS settings. What BIOS display shows when just the M.2 is present? Reset CMOS. You’d like all BIOS configurations reset to defaults for a fresh start.

The M.2 drive displays 1.7 terabytes of unused space. I'll explain further shortly.
