Additionally, I've explored your Gigabyte motherboards in detail. An offset vcore could be beneficial, and I found a discussion about this on your forum regarding the 8700k... Refer to: https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/co...4/dwubwju/

I overlooked mentioning that the room temperature is extremely high due to the summer season.

I watched this video to assist with my overclock project. It covers running an 8700k at 5Ghz with 1.28 GHz, and the average temperature during gameplay is around 60°C.

Keep in mind that your components like the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and VRM differ from what's shown in the video, even if they seem alike. Adjust voltages according to your setup and expectations, as you can't guarantee the same performance as displayed. Results may vary significantly, and precision isn't guaranteed. It's normal to encounter variations such as 1.4v on an 8700k at 4.9GHz.

As karadigne mentioned, please don't copy; I followed the video but made some adjustments. My 8700k runs at 5GHz with a temperature of 1.28°C, which is about 60°C during gaming.

I verified the stability of that overclock by checking various benchmarks. Although they improve silicon refinement over time, the low Vcore remains a concern.

It varies by character creation. If only the turbo mode is boosted without full core activation, using one core at 5GHz and 1.28v might be effective.
