I didn't manage to view the video you shared. The reason isn't clear. The default PROCHOT Offset for Intel is 0—it's your device. If something fails, no one in a forum will buy you a replacement. If you're not sure about changing it, just leave it as is. Most laptops struggle to run at full speed while using battery power.

I followed your instructions as outlined in the settings. The issue didn't resolve. Was there anything incorrect? I noticed the game launched immediately after clicking OK without restarting. It wasn't a problem for about a year after purchasing the laptop. The issue began around 8 months ago, in March. At that time, I also updated my BIOS. Until December 2019, everything worked fine. The video isn't visible in the mini player—feel free to download and verify it. Thank you for your patience and effort.

Enable the Log File feature in ThrottleStop. Run a test game for 15 minutes to gather ample data. After completing testing, close the game and then exit ThrottleStop. The log file should be saved in your ThrottleStop / Logs directory. Share it with me so I can review the activity. Also include some screenshots showing your ThrottleStop configuration. It appears you're implementing power limit throttling. Don't forget to activate Nvidia GPU monitoring in the Options window before logging begins.

I recorded the game data. I executed the games using standard power configurations in Windows. The first game was Rocket League, beginning at about 23:30. Then I played Witcher 3, which became quite demanding and caused frequent stutters, making it unplayable by around 23:42. After that, the system transitioned to idle mode while cooling down. Additionally, I attached the default settings file from Throttlestop dated October 28, 2020.

Early in your log, your Nvidia GPU operates between 1481 MHz and 1696 MHz. The PL1 column shows power cap restrictions for the CPU. This processor is designed for 15W long-term, so some throttling at that level is typical. Could the issue stem from dust in the laptop? If not, does a Windows 10 reset help resolve it? Otherwise, what steps might you try? Thank you!

I rechecked your log file and noticed the Nvidia GPU is capped at 64°C. It seems a recent update lowered the thermal throttling temperature too low. Lenovo might be responsible for this. If you can locate and apply an older BIOS version, the issue should resolve.

If the issue is confirmed, do you have any suggestions on reducing the BIOS version?

Visit Lenovo's website to look for BIOS updates. Some businesses still offer older BIOS versions if you're experiencing issues. Browse their site for BIOS updates and check if a 2019 release is available for your laptop. Back then, Lenovo probably set a higher GPU throttling temperature. Are you running the most recent BIOS? A new update was released only two weeks ago—perhaps Lenovo has already resolved this throttling concern.
