Scary fps shooters? Maybe try Metro, L4D, DOOM, Bioshock, Sniper Elite, Stalker, Amnesia if mods are applied.., Dark Light is a highly anticipated zombie parkour gaming which is said to be amazing and maybe try Dead Island. Unknown if it still qualifies as strong visuals, F.E.A.R. 1 (and just one) was an excellent horror FPS with solid pacing, the Dead Space series also worked well but I felt it leaned too much into action to maintain tension, and DOOM 3 needs surround sound to fully deliver its impact. Shooting games are hard to make scary because action often breaks the suspense, while survival horror might be better for scares but doesn’t really fit the shooter vibe.
