The adapter status display should reflect the connection speed between you and the router. Remember, this shows the link speed, not the overall internet performance.

It might be the cable itself that's restricting performance. Even though it's long, the limitation could come from its material or design rather than just length.

It lasts for a short time, as the strength drops with distance. Less than 20 meters should work just fine.
