I’m choosing this game because of my huge love for Battlefront and Star Wars, but only if it’s on sale. I don’t mind the cheating, as long as it’s mod-compatible. And seriously, why can’t I pilot an AT-AT?
I understand. 20v20 seems like a joke, especially given the scale the game is supposed to handle. I enjoyed the space battles in BF2, though I didn’t mention it before. I hope they included them. There was just one map where you could drive AT-ATs, right? I think we’re aware that’s only available in one mode. Although, honestly, mods would be nice. But EA. ^^ They weren’t just limited to one map, were they? Hoth right? At least in BF2. I’m not a fanboy, and I disagree with many of their decisions. I believe they should have paid more attention to fan preferences instead of pursuing their own direction. No clone wars era. Who made that choice? For the record, in the E3 demo, AT-ATs were the target for the Imperials to reach a certain point. It makes sense that they appeared on rails in that specific mode. This game has received a lot of criticism because it hasn’t met expectations, and there are plenty of things I dislike. Still, I don’t think it deserves all the backlash it faces.
It's tough to connect with the AT on the original battlefields since they were consistently taken over by another player.
