I rely on external tools for modding in Arma 3 that let me adjust the CPU cores (in short, Arma 3 isn’t great). It seems the software altered the core settings worldwide rather than just for Arma 3. That’s why MSConfig didn’t trigger anything. I ran a sfc/scannow scan, but I’m not sure what it accomplished.
