I played an RTS game called Sins of a Solar Empire with my friend. I was curious about other titles that fit certain needs. I looked for games under half a day to finish, avoided overly complicated interfaces, and didn’t want anything too war-like or similar to StarCraft. I also wanted something with a more relaxed UI and less clutter.

It seems you're referring to something new or unfamiliar. Could you provide more details? I'm here to help clarify or discuss it further.

These games also focus on constructing cities. They involve settlers and managing settlements. Zeus Master of Olympus is a notable title.

It's costly on Steam, yet available on G2A for roughly £7 to £9 for the trio.

I usually don’t purchase directly from Steam, and I look on GOG to verify if they offer games with DRM, even though Steam doesn’t appeal to me.

Homeworld Remastered is a solid choice. It's a timeless title. Age of Empires II and III are top picks. Act of War and its spiritual successor have just launched. Age of Mythology, Supreme Commander, Total Annihilation, Planetary Annihilation... A wide selection exists both on and off Steam. GOG offers many valuable options.

I'm not sure if you're that passionate about vintage titles, but Age of Mithology transformed my perspective over a decade ago.
