You can potentially operate the EVGA SR-2 without the EPS connectors by using a different setup, such as a USB-to-EPS adapter or a direct connection if available. Check the manufacturer's guidelines for alternatives.

Without the EPS connectors, the CPU fails to operate, and the board remains inactive.

I modified a single 4-pin EPS to an 8-pin version, using just one CPU while the other was turned off. Currently, only three lights are active: one blue and two amber.

They developed a power source compatible with this board, offering all the necessary connectors for proper installation. You might need to set both up to get it working.

I checked the details and only need to run both CPUs if required. The question is about what the lights signify.

The blue remains active while the amber appears slightly to the lower left of it. The memory LEDs light up when the slot works.

The blue signal indicates active power, green is above it. Are the correct jumper settings applied? There are two connectors present.

You're correct. There isn't a green light active.

Green will appear slightly below the blue one and will activate once you turn it on. You mentioned no post—should that be the problem?
