Tried a different port and checked the network settings, but it seems the 5GHz connection might have been affected. It’s unclear if changing the OS would help since I’m using Manjaro with a dual boot setup and don’t have Wi-Fi enabled there.

The concept involved using an extra storage device to run a temporary Windows installation, but because we're focusing on checking network performance, Manjaro should suffice if the right driver is available.

I'm pretty sure Realtek (which relies on a Realtek driver) doesn't support Manjaro, so it might just be a software issue. Since it functions properly on another laptop, I’m leaning toward reinstalling Windows entirely. It wouldn’t be too complicated—I could transfer all my essential files to the HDD and erase the SSD.

Make sure you've verified all network drivers are present. Check if the Wi-Fi adapter comes with its own driver. Sometimes the Windows built-in driver for the Realtek controller isn't ideal.

It came with the adapter, though I could have additional ones, but where should I look for checking?

Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features - Override any drivers in Device Manager during installation, as they may be replaced by the manufacturer's version. Have you checked for the newest driver directly on the manufacturer's site?
