Hello, I noticed I can't create new folders anymore. The context menu doesn't offer this option. I searched online for fixes using the registry, but those didn't work. Instead of a new icon, there are two shortcut buttons available as shown in the attached image. When I press Ctrl + Shift + N, it opens a New ShortcutFolder file, which functions like a shortcut.

Are there any other unusual issues with your PC? For example, slow performance, lack of responsiveness, or crashes.

Considered a possible user profile problem. Verified the hard disk status using crystaldiskinfo. Proceeded with running sfc /scannow to inspect system files. If everything appears normal, attempted to create a new user profile and tested its functionality.

I've checked both disks thoroughly—SFC scan didn't assist, and the new user account also didn't resolve the issue. The new settings in the menu remained unchanged.

Execute the image repair command in the elevated CMD prompt. Restore health—likely intended for an admin user.

Identify the issue individually. Fixing a single problem doesn’t require restoring everything.

I've already checked various registry solutions, but they didn't resolve the issue. All "New" menu .reg files available, yet nothing changed.

Begin by checking the registry section first to identify any issues like duplicate entries.
