I refreshed the bios shortly after launching and setting up Windows, but I made a mistake—I didn’t notice the versions with letters were beta releases. I’ll fix that. I’m unsure if it improves things, but I ran MemTest86 and it passed. It was using a 4800MHz XMP chip at the time. After updating the BIOS and chipset drivers, assuming it’s not hardware-related, would a fresh Windows install help or would there be another issue?

It makes sense to perform a clean installation. The existing setup might have problems, and a new one would fix them.

I installed the latest BIOS update and everything worked smoothly. The chipset driver didn’t affect anything. I attempted a clean Windows install but it still shows a blue screen during setup, always displaying "bsod irql_not_less_or_equal." It seems like the RAM might be the issue—should I replace it or check something else? Also, just to clarify, Windows is still functional, though it’s outdated.

Test each stick individually; the likelihood of both failing is very small. Also, the OS might become unstable due to repeated crashes.

A single piece appears slightly more effective, though both still fail.
