Error after changing MSConfig settings System crashes repeatedly following modifications
In short, I attempted to turn off unnecessary services on my PC but ended up disabling something crucial. Every time I power on the system, I see a BSOD with the error "BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO." I've tried most Windows recovery tools, but nothing works. Safe mode also won't boot. I'm running out of options. Can someone help me run msconfig from the command prompt? I tried, but it reports I don’t have permission. I’m using Windows 8.1. Thanks for any advice or suggestions!
Try using the Windows 8.1 disk to attempt a recovery, but if it doesn’t work, your OS is damaged—you’ll need to reinstall it.
