your desktop went black with intense fans spinning. you're running an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G on a Gigabyte B450M DS3H, and you've tried different RAM configurations—1x16, 2x16, and your usual 2x. after clearing the CMOS twice, you see lights and fans but no display or boot errors. you're planning to install a B550M DS3H AC later this month to check for other issues. I've removed RAM and CPUs to test further. At the time, I also lost the ability to force a hard reset using the power button. any advice would be appreciated.

this happened to me, the gpu is sadly might be doomed. There is a chance it’s not though. Unplug your gpu power cable and inspect it, look for broken/ melted pins. if you see any, it might work with a new cable. if you see dust clean it. plug it back in. Lmk what happens

No problem, I've added graphics support. The GPU should handle the display now.

It seems like the issue might be related to a dead motherboard or lack of sufficient power.

Same problem persists with a new MB motherboard and PSU. The BIOS screen appears, indicating an ongoing issue.
