Great news everyone! Everything is now set up and working perfectly. I attempted to enable logging and increase verbosity, but only Debug was accessible. I installed PUTTY and tried it, yet the connection kept timing out. It worked on the single PC connected, but not when using the other one. I also confirmed the Guest network was configured correctly. Thank you all for your assistance! I’m just checking if the cloud gateway could replace the Comcast Business modem without needing it. I’d like to add it next week if possible, so we can have everything ready for Easter week. Your support made a big difference.

Usually these devices are designed for modem use only, so there’s no graphical interface for logging in unless it’s a modem/router package. If you’re dealing with a router-modem combo, that might explain the lack of access. Still, since it works fine, don’t stress too much. The Cloud Gateways are great; I’ve set up four Gateway Ultras for various projects and they perform well for home or small installations. You can remotely manage them through the Unifi app, allowing others to join if needed. The network controller runs on the gateway itself, eliminating the need for a separate PC—just keep it running 24/7 for remote access, logging, and adding new devices. It simplifies creating a Guest VLAN and other virtual networks; you can even display a guest network page directly from the gateway. Features like GeoIP filtering, content control, dual WAN for redundancy, and more are available, though I rarely use them unless required. At $130, it’s a solid investment for a firewall/router with these capabilities. The main drawback is that you can’t transfer your current configuration to the Cloud Gateway automatically—you’ll have to re-enter SSIDs and rename devices manually, which isn’t ideal for large setups but works well in smaller environments.

Cable modems offer a graphical interface for logging in. Adjusting settings isn't possible, but you can check logs and signal strength. This is helpful for diagnosing problems.
