We have three PCs in a room next to the garage. It seems multiple factors might be causing radio interference at 315 MHz, making it hard to hear the garage door opener. I have some questions. Is this a recent issue or a new garage door? Do you own more than one remote, and are they all having communication problems? It’s possible, but RF interference isn’t my first concern. The 315 MHz frequency isn’t something I’m familiar with a PC emitting.

You're completely unfamiliar with how a PC generates emissions at that level. Could it be linked to your garage door opener using Wi-Fi?

It's a new issue since installing two fresh PCs. The garage door functions properly without any devices connected, but it becomes difficult to operate the remote when the computers are running or turned on.

The computers and the garage door shared the same electrical path. You connected the motor to the ground using a proper grounding method.

Are the remote controls for your garage door still working? I don’t own a garage or an opener, but I’ve noticed these devices often have poor signal transmission. If it’s an older model, swapping out the wireless part might be a good idea.

they shouldn't be, yet the outlet for the opener is positioned right in the middle of the ceiling or floor, just above or below it, possibly close enough to cause interference. I’ll look into the breakers… not on the same circuit.

New power sources, old meter confirmed 3 Volts. As requested, devices are idle: remote stays past the driveway edge; machines are active possibly 15 feet or less, near the surface.
