I'm just starting out in the gaming world and often watch a lot of videos. I've noticed a lot of criticism toward EA, even though they make great games. I'm curious about the reasons behind this negativity.

Monetizing Dungeon Keeper mobile to the point they were shitting on the original game, with 24 hours needed to mine the hardest blocks, sped up of course by spending money. (This is 1 example, others will have more).

they’re not the only ones, just a few games matter like BF and sleep but others ignore feedback and are super unmotivated to improve their servers.

I don't mind EA at all; their help is significantly better than Steams'.

They mostly face the same challenges as every AAA publisher, especially when it comes to treating customers poorly just to squeeze in a few extra profits. EA is simply more visible, and I think they receive more criticism for it.
