I had no idea there was a positive aspect to EA (wow).

EA was the main gaming company of its time, alongside a few others that didn’t quite live up to expectations. They’ve largely stopped focusing on improving, but they still produce games that aren’t great.

It makes sense why people dislike them. Now that refunds are available for Origin, I’m not too bothered.

They're not as bad as Ubisoft, yet they consistently release nearly the same sports titles each year just to generate revenue. The real issue lies with the users who keep purchasing them.

Some claim EA mirrors what Ubisoft has become today, yet it remains problematic. 'NFS: No Limits' revealed their continued greed, as in this free racing title you must purchase fuel to compete. 'Sims 4' was a terrible launch this year, even before its release it hinted at a Sims 3 with even more nonsensical DLC. A commenter already pointed out how absurd the DLC was for Sims 3. Don't worry about my opinions—those sport games are still considered among the worst in those 'Worst games of [insert year here]' videos.

Some believe it's solely EA's actions driving the situation.

EA has enhanced their methods recently. I began buying back EA products in 2014 after skipping them for a year and four years, and I wasn’t let down by BF4 even though it didn’t live up to Battlefield 3. I still like Hardline. Additionally, EA offers free games each month along with refunds and excellent customer support.

They're likely the least appealing options, especially on Ign. Check out some articles there for more insight.

IGN in itself is pretty bad.
