I really missed this chance to play at high speeds. At 90+ fps it would feel much smoother, especially since I’ve been away from console gaming since 2018. The developers might be able to boost the frame rate anyway. Mods are likely to come, so I don’t think the devs will ignore us. It’s definitely 2022 now, and it’s even worse for people using an Ultra Wide monitor.

I'm accustomed to speeds above 200 frames per second. 60 fps seems to cause some discomfort for me.

I'm not impressed. Ultrawide isn't much of a surprise, since it's still a very specialized feature in monitors. But a 60 fps limit really shows PC wasn't a priority for me at all. These fps limits are usually set by default in games because speed or physics rely on steady frames. It seems like a poor decision from the game engine side. Still, it’s not a big issue for me. I’ll probably stick with my C9 OLED now and revisit it on my ultrawide screen later when the community fixes it. If the game is solid as everyone claims, these are just small downsides. Dark Souls 1 and 3 were some of the best games I've played recently.

The visual differences between PC and PS5 versions will vary, but both platforms offer high-quality graphics.

I noticed the PC build didn’t meet my expectations for visuals. (So far, the entire experience has been okay) I don’t see the PS5 version improving or matching up.

haven't played any Dark Souls titles, so I probably won't really dive into Witcher 3. It's not my usual vibe, but I got it on Steam—who knows? Maybe it gets dusty or I won't enjoy it. Kind of joining a few others who like exploring new games and trying out different experiences.

The visuals match those of Dark Souls 3. Numerous animations and resources were repurposed, which means the graphics feel like they belong to 2016.
