I captured the gameplay video. I’m unsure how to trim it to display only the sections you need.

Do you have video editing tools? You can also use YouTube’s built-in editor, though I’m not sure it will perform as well.

I have strong skills in video editing, but I find it hard to understand how to trim or remove sections in a video like you do in Photoshop. It’s a different process!

The process varies from crop for cut stuff versus crop for crops. You might want a tool like After Effects or another video editing program that handles this.

Also consider frame-by-frame masking, though it can be quite slow.

Absolutely! That's quite a challenge, especially with high frame rates. Thanks for the tip about using After Effects.

I'm not certain. I need the clip and want just the bomb part. It doesn't block the whole screen, only a section of the video.

I own Camtasia, Sony Vegas Pro and After Effects. But I'm not sure how to use them. I've only seen the zoom feature, and I can only zoom in very large so my bomb section fills the whole screen.

That's about it. Using Sony Vegas should be the simplest option. You can hide it, but then there will be black around it. Just zoom in until it covers the whole screen.
