Dying Light
Their SPUD page has many complaints about poor performance. There are also several other issues reported.
I just purchased it and will keep you updated. Once the download finishes and I’ve finished all the tasks I promised in exchange for payment, I’ll let you know. At this stage, saying a game isn’t perfect right away doesn’t really matter much. It’s disappointing, but true—games usually have bugs when they first launch.
It seems interesting, though the map might become monotonous quickly. I’m just keeping an open mind before diving in.
I just wrapped up the session, spent around 10 hours and 30 minutes straight—unusually for me. To date, I’ve finished roughly 13% of the story, skipping side quests, random encounters, supply drops, and even sleeping through the nights. Playing a game that long in one go is pretty rare for me, but it’s amazing how it works. I’d love it if it ran smoother overall—it feels a bit lacking in optimization.
I'm setting up the game ATM soon and will share an update soon. Peace.
This game is quite a mess. The high average FPS works fine, but there are noticeable stutters.
What's going on? It looks like a total mess despite all the optimizations. This isn't just my problem—seems like the game is broken, possibly by design. I'm starting to doubt PC gaming altogether. Fingers crossed that Witcher 3 and GTA V don’t face the same fate.
I’ll clarify that the typical frame rate is strong, yet the game experiences frequent stuttering. This could indicate a more serious issue. It’s important they address the stuttering to improve performance.
