Hello, I'm trying to figure out if anyone has encountered this issue before. I've experienced this strange occurrence a few times during stress tests with RanTest using 3D Mark and Cinebench. Sometimes it happens after rebooting the PC, but it's unpredictable. I've run multiple tests and everything seems fine. It doesn't affect my daily activities like driving, gaming, or streaming. The drivers are up to date. I recently checked Cinebench and 3D Mark, and I saw this for the first time in a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17WAyN69...drive_link. The specs look good—Ryzen 9 5900X, RTX 4080, 850W Corsair RM PSU. No unusual settings were applied. The blurry block on the monitor stays in the same spot, but it works properly on other displays, including the Samsung Odyssey G8 Neo.

Your Google Drive needs access permission. Upload your videos to YouTube and mark them as unlisted, share your photos on the forum. Video problems may stem from the monitor, the video cable, or possibly the GPU. The motherboard’s PCI-e slot is another possibility. Since you recently swapped the GPU (assuming you meant that) and everything worked before, it’s likely a faulty GPU. Please return it promptly and order a replacement. It seems unusual if the issue appears only on one monitor consistently in the same area. You might test with a different video cable between two monitors to check if the problem persists.

Recent bios updates? Did you test them without the negative curve adjustment?

It’s possible to remove a hardware issue that reduces GPU memory clock or limits TDP. This isn’t typical for VRAM stability problems, but I haven’t encountered it with display stream compression on modern systems. A faulty cable or connection to the monitor might be the cause, possibly triggering an error in DSC. Are you connecting via HDMI or DP?

I've refreshed the link—please review it now. I own this GPU since January and performed benchmark tests several times without any issues. The main concern is with the Samsung ODYSSEY Neo G8 monitor; I've only noticed this problem there. I'll check the cable next.

I adjusted the power target to 95% and left the rest on the default setting with an aggressive fan curve. There were no problems during gaming sessions so far. A few suggested it could be a cable issue. I changed the cables on both monitors later today; I'm hoping there won't be any bigger problems beyond that.

It seems the problem is limited to your G8 Neo. After checking other monitors separately, it looks like either the monitor or the cable is faulty. Try switching the cable first. If the issue persists, test on a completely different monitor—only that one should work. Keep it simple: one monitor, one cable, test each part individually.

Thanks for the ideas. It seems the HDMI cable might be the problem. I changed it from my primary monitor to a second 4K monitor and everything worked fine with Cinebench and 3D Mark.
