Hello Community,
I'm attempting to stream Call of Duty Black Ops 4 with OBS or Streamlabs OBS. I believe I've set everything correctly according to the instructions, but when the stream starts, the lag becomes extremely noticeable and my FPS drops significantly. When not streaming, I maintain around 120 FPS, whereas it falls to 30-40 FPS during the stream. I have no idea why this happens and it's really frustrating. My CPU reports 100% usage, but I'm not sure what that means in this context. I've tried using both x264 and NVENC encoders.
PC Specs:
Processor; i7-4770k
Graphics Card; ROG 1080ti
RAM; GSkill Ripjaws 16GB
Motherboard; Maximus Hero VI

However, you'd still have to upgrade your motherboard if you're swapping in a 4790K instead of a 4770K. The type of CPU you select will also require additional RAM.
For running a 2700x I would likely require a new motherboard to align with the socket, and possibly a high-end one. I was considering building a new system in the new year using an Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-core processor paired with an MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC ATX LGA1151 motherboard.
