It's a great idea to try it out. It's quite enjoyable. I also suggest pairing it with a gamepad. I use an Xbox 360 controller and it performs much better than the keys.
Played the game for a few hours with my friend—his character is all flash, but I’m really excited about this DBZ title! I’d love some camera upgrades though; it’s the only part that seems to stay consistent across releases. The combat is super engaging, and the combos are solid. I especially enjoy watching myself behind the enemy after a tough fight to use a Galick Gun or Break Cannon. I’m planning to buy a copy myself because it really hooked me and I want to challenge friends.
I thought similarly, but I believe that applies mainly to the earlier titles. This latest Galick Gun seems significantly less capable. When I looked at others such as Kamehameha, it was much weaker. I recall Vegeta mentioning its reduced power when training my character at a shorter range.
I tried it yesterday evening and am now weighing the decision. Just two hours in, I'm seriously thinking about purchasing it.
