So there is a review embargo going on regarding Doom from Bethesda software (which from my understanding are not the same people as Bethesda game studios or something), I'm kinda anxious? People here have played it? How is it?Can't trust Steam review lately, so much BS THX

I just purchased it and will update you after the 43.8GB download finishes in about two hours. I think the single-player version is better than the older ones, since the multiplayer is really bad.

Is this a console or PC build? I think it's a PC since your style matches mine quite closely. PC, correct? (I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a 43GB day one patch available for consoles too.) Edit: Yeah, the multiplayer is okay to say, I’ve always liked old-school Doom-style games rather than modern FPS titles like CoD or whatever’s trending now (don’t tell me it’s still CoD, please).

The multiplayer is now perfect. It worked well after the early issues but is now smooth. The game plays brilliantly and he’s incredibly exciting to watch. Blood and chaos are everywhere.

I really enjoy it—the campaign is amazing and the multiplayer is tailored to your style. It's a mix of pros and cons for me, but I also appreciate the vibe. Give a few videos a look and tell me what you think!

Bethesda Studio and Bethesda Softworks represent distinct roles—one as the creator and the other as the publisher. That setup seems to be effective. As for the latest update, @VortexS appears to be involved, based on a comment in another discussion.

The question refers to the developer behind the paid modding system for Bethesda games, not the publisher. Softworks handles publishing, while the actual development is managed by Bethesda.

I initially doubted the experience after seeing the multiplayer content online. But after checking out some SP gameplay lately, I’m now convinced. Can’t wait to try it out.
