Doom?
Doom?
You can't share the review until it's finished. I think an embargo usually means the game isn't good, but I'm not sure if that's what it implies right now.
I tried it at a friend's place and had to admit it's tough in the hardest level, but I really enjoy it. It's super intense with brutal headbanging and throat-popping moves that keep things exciting. It's a great experience overall.
Im 6hours in and the SP is awesome. On hard its easy at first, but damn , it gets realy though at some point. Story is not existing. But Gameplay and Graphics are awesome. And its perfectly optimized. ~ 80FPS max settings 1440p. If you lile fast oldschool Shooter Action. I say go for it.
NICE was looking forward to a good multiplayer experience, but honestly, I don’t mind less than what I’m used to. Recently I’ve been more of a solo player, though I still enjoyed playing Doom for its story. It’s been the same great game ever since the first one.
I received the game nearly at half price from work, so I didn’t expect much initially since a store offering a $100 title to staff for $56 is usually a red flag. However, I was pleasantly surprised because despite the MP not being ideal for me, the campaign has been quite enjoyable so far—breaking down demons and shooting them off, which feels reasonable considering the price. Still, I might not have the same enjoyment if I paid full price. On my rig (GTX 970), I’m achieving around 60fps with occasional drops to 55fps on Ultra settings. I believe it will perform well on a GTX 1080 with a high refresh rate G-sync monitor.
