They push you to finish a shallow tale lacking substance, making it impossible to reach top-tier gear unless you pass easily. The background details are locked in Bungie.net entries. Once you breeze through all stages, you need random actions and Crucible work to collect basic equipment. This helps you unlock Legendary and Rare items, which are essential for leveling up and progressing past 20 to tackle the raids. That’s essentially it.

10/10 : Apart from the jokes, I don’t believe things will improve for destiny. The need to stay online and the inability to use guest accounts for split-screen gameplay are things that have discouraged many console players. It feels too far removed from what most gamers expect. In my opinion, it would be better if this were a PC title. MMOs don’t really translate well to consoles.

I often share with my friends how I connected via other MMOs. If somehow a billion dollars appears in my hands, I plan to launch a studio and avoid creating a mediocre game with sloppy designs.

It also has the issue of the "we'll get to it later" attitude. A nice bonus is the great soundtrack.

I haven't tried it yet (though I intend to soon), but from what I've heard about the game, it appears to be built around the idea of a long-term franchise. It seems the initial release is mainly designed to lay the groundwork for future DLCs and sequels. It introduces the story, mechanics, and characters, giving you a preview of what's coming over the next decade. This approach spreads resources too thin, as it tries to cover extensive content in just the first installment. It feels like they're aiming to establish both narrative depth and gameplay variety from the start, similar to how Halo evolved over its decade-long development.

I wouldn't rule it out entirely just yet. Bungie clearly has the capacity to deliver a rich, immersive world with solid gameplay. I'd suggest waiting about a year before making a judgment. However, given the current pace and lack of sustained engagement, it might not gain enough traction to reach that level.

Of course, this is based on the information available so far—just a rough estimate without having played the game.

Holding my breath for the PC launch. At least I’ll get GTA V!

Destiny seems great to you all. The design is appealing, and after checking some streams, it looks like a lot of fun to play. By the time it launches on PC, they should have fixed most of the problems (hopefully).

This project began concepts as early as 2002, with development likely starting around 2008/2009. A significant investment was made, possibly exceeding the reported figures, though I’d bet a lot more than that. When examining this title, I’m reminded of games that took nearly ten years to develop and backed by millions in funding. Yet, in light of all this, this game feels like a total mess.

Beyond the game itself, there were some notable moves at Gamescom 2014 when they announced an upcoming expansion set for December. By then, the situation had already shifted—content was being pushed forward at a premium cost, which felt unfair to players. The presence of exclusive PlayStation content, even if limited until mid-2015, still felt like a betrayal to consumers.

There’s also the point about platform exclusivity. While Kojima and Konami had previously offered exclusive titles like Ground Zeroes, they eventually changed their approach, acknowledging the need to adapt. Still, it’s frustrating seeing such decisions made without proper reflection.

Now, regarding the actual game: why should we focus on its worst aspects? The repetitive levels, grinding for gear, and endless replaying. Sure, you can tackle higher-level content, but it’s just an older section with tougher enemies. You’ll have to repeat missions dozens of times. This experience is a complete waste of time—a total joke. The fact that millions enjoy it highlights how easily people are swayed by flashy features, no matter the flaws.
