About a week back, my ASRock B550M Pro4 board failed, so I replaced it with an MSI B550 A Pro. Now the motherboard won't power on at all. I've checked everything, but it still doesn't turn on. There are no debug LEDs, though when I run it without the CPU, the debug lights activate and it gets stuck on the CPU indicator. The BIOS is current, but it seems the issue occurred just this morning when I tried to power it on.

I have been using it for a week after purchasing the new motherboard and updating the BIOS according to the manual instructions. I'm unsure why my first motherboard, the ASRock B550 A Pro, stopped working. The new one still uses the same PSU as before.

What I'm observing is that the PSU you selected has extremely poor build quality.
It seems the power supply unit caused my first motherboard to fail, and likely my second motherboard and CPU as well.
The PSU supplies power to your PC, and it's wise to choose one that goes beyond your system's needs, giving you enough capacity now and for future upgrades. Based on my experience, top-rated PSUs with platinum ratings offering at least 850 Watts work well for most new builds. If you have a 4090 or 50 series graphics card, you might need a PSU with 1000 Watts or more to suit your setup.
In any situation a highly dependable power supply unit would be a beneficial and secure improvement.
