I got the exact same 400 fps max case with my FPS ranging from 380 to 390 and running solidly. I have a 6800 XT and a 5600 X. I have those graphics cards (5600x and 3800 cl) with an LMAO vibe. I also got 400fps. Is there a CPU or RAM bottleneck? No, my processor scored way higher than normal in tests, and the memory is fine too 😂 You can check everything on my thread if you want to see it and feel a bit better.

Found it. It seems CS:GO caps FPS at 400 normally. I typed "fps_max 999" into the console, and now I'm getting 897 FPS. I don't know if this is good or bad though. I should probably watch to see how my average FPS goes after that and then set it around that number so I stop getting those big jumps in speed.
Which game console do you want? If you pick one I'll cap the frame rate at 240 just fine lol. Being real, nothing is wrong about that low fps because my monitor runs at 144hz already, so having a higher number won't help anything. It's not better in any way, it's just pointless. So yes, I was right before saying that NOTHING is the problem; the issue is all those settings and habits people have here. Everyone keeps making wrong guesses or assumptions while talking around here, sometimes getting me thinking when I could actually get a headache 😂
You can get the CS:GO console by turning it on in the settings menu. After you turn the console on, press that button to go into the game's controls. Most people who play CS:GO say they don't need to lower their frame rate.
Man honestly then most CS GO players don't get the link between screen refresh rate and how many frames a system makes. Trust me, throwing more FPS above your screen is useless because it doesn't make gaming better at all. but you do what you have to do man. I would just set my limit to about 144 frames per second max 240 lol.
