Sakkura might argue the Rift’s audio is superior, but I’d strongly disagree—I prefer my 5.1 setup plus headphones for immersion. The Vive controllers feel comfortable and provide a natural movement experience. The "knuckle" controllers are expected around Q3 2017 and promise an even better setup. HTC is also developing a tracking device for guns or peripherals to sync in VR.
Honestly, I wouldn't allow any company influence to sway your buying choice because it's absurd, immature, a love for Ferraris over Ford, or just because I said so, and VR requires real users, not just fans.
