Dirty Bomb is the first free-to-play game I really like.
Dirty Bomb is the first free-to-play game I really like.
COD 4 implemented a defense against texture modifications, which is concerning!
I think the game is really great, but it seems to cost a lot. When you begin, you’re given only 3 or 4 mercs that aren’t rotating or you don’t have to spend money on them. These mercs feel uninteresting. I suggest anyone playing the game get at least 2 or 3 mercs for more variety. That way you’ll have the original mercs, the free ones, and the ones you bought. Each merc costs around $5 to $10. If you buy several, you might end up spending more than the game’s value.
It seems like you're unsure about what others think of this game, just another fast-paced FPS to me.
I began this morning, and it was quite engaging. I really enjoy it.
What's your favorite F2P game? Which ones have you played before? I've liked Warframe, WarThunder, DCUO, PS2, and more. Dirty Bomb works, but Nexon is a big concern. My friends and I are excited about Overwatch, though we might be busy with Blade and Soul this season.
It's more than just a mod. You simply adjust the settings in the ini file to remove all textures. Just search online. The developers aren't concerned, so it's worth doing if you want to level up.
I've tried other free-to-play titles that seemed decent, but they didn't really capture my interest. My preference leans toward shooters, so games like WarThunder don't really fit. I played TF2 before it became free and didn’t enjoy it much. Combat Arms was entertaining, but getting weapons was frustrating and you needed a certain skill level to collect many. BlackLight Retribution followed the same pattern. I did play Warframe and found it solid, but I just can't stay motivated to play co-op shooters for extended periods. Also, I might revise my original comment and add some highlights about Dirty Bomb to explain why I like the game better.
