ASUS (maybe). API means Application Programming Interface. It could be 32 or 64 bit versions. My guess is the stuff running on your computer got messed up, had bugs, or was malware making things slow down. Restarting cleaned that up. Check Task Manager, Resource Monitor, Process Explorer, and Task Scheduler to see what's happening. Watch closely for when AsusAPI64 and AsusAPI32 appear again. Be careful with downloads and where you get them from.

Back to regular boot , I ended every Asus related task but still there's an issue, I uninstalled few programs that were suspicious such as Razer synapse but still slow, I'll uninstall Asus Armoury and reinstall later to see if that makes any difference

Turn off first versus uninstalling just in case. Watch your computer speed before and after "Asus Armoury". Use the tools but only one at a time, then do one thing at a time. Write down what you see. Check again later. Look for little arrows that appear in the tool boxes to sort the info. These might help if the numbers jump around or are hard to read. = = = = Process Explorer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s-explorer

One way to fix problems is using Windows' Task Manager. You could go to the Autostart tab and turn off some programs individually before restarting your computer. Try starting up with programs you don't know well or that aren't needed, for instance, if you have many ASUS-related apps running at the same time.

Okay. It's important to stay calm and fix just one thing at a time. Trying to do way too many things quickly can hide the real issue or even help it grow.
