Hey, I just set up my first PC with an ASRock B550 PRO4 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 5800X. I have two 8GB 3200MHz CL16 G.Skill RAM sticks. When trying to boot, the RGB lights come on but nothing appears. The post status checker on the motherboard indicates an issue with my CPU or DRAM. I removed one RAM stick and the problem still exists. Any advice?

Check if all cables are correctly connected. Tested with a different RAM stick. If issues persist, please share the motherboard photo for further assistance.

Have you tried updating the BIOS yet? It seems like a risky move given the current year, but I’m not sure you might have a very recent version either.

I just discovered my RAM isn't listed in the B550 PRO4's QVL. I'm planning to purchase new RAM sticks to check if it works.

I question the Ram claim. It seems stronger at stock configurations. Is there a Bios version listed on the packaging? Edited October 25, 2023 by leclod

Not specified, but it seems to be version 1.6B.

I didn't locate a V1.6B version but... if your BIOS is below 1.80, you may require an older processor to install the BIOS... Edited October 25, 2023 by leclod
