Hello Tech Tippers, I recently upgraded my system with new motherboard, RAM, and CPU. I kept my old power supply and GPU since they worked fine. Everything is running smoothly until the BIOS says no bootable drive is found. The drives are present but not listed as bootable. I tried booting from USB, which helped a bit, but it still shows an empty screen. When selecting "load driver," Windows detects a drive with its own file structure. Could you help me figure out how to make these drives appear as bootable options? Thanks in advance, Robin.

They are showing RAID because the system is configured to use multiple disks together for data redundancy and performance.

You could try enabling AHCI mode in the BIOS settings, though I’m not sure what options are available there.

I don't understand the issue. You checked the BIOS for AHCI but got no results. You also searched for drive information but found nothing helpful. Your system specs show an Intel 4th gen i5 CPU and a newer 12th gen i5, with Windows 10 on an SSD connected to a new motherboard. Someone suggested driver problems might be the cause, but you're unsure how to fix it since you can't boot into Windows normally. You have a laptop available for downloading drivers or using a Windows boot USB.

It's odd to see all three drives listed in a RAID setup—probably not what you intended. Make sure your BIOS is up to date first. These drives likely came from an older system, right? Were they part of a RAID configuration before?

Your three drives are set up in RAID configuration. Enter the BIOS settings, turn off RAID or switch to AHCI mode. It's also advised to connect only the SSD you wish to install Windows on. Turn off or disable all other drives. Windows may sometimes place the Master Boot Record (MBR) on the incorrect drive, which can disrupt the installation process. For example, half of the installation might be on one drive while the other half is on a different drive.

The drives come from an older system. They weren't configured as a RAID; they were just regular storage devices. I also have a RAID setup elsewhere, but it's a different NAS and unrelated to this one.

You can turn off RAID by adjusting the settings in your system's storage configuration or BIOS/UEFI options. Since you're having trouble locating instructions, try searching for general "disable RAID" guides or check your hardware manual. If you need help navigating those resources, let me know!

I located certain drive configurations in Intel Rapid Storage Technology. It states that all my drives aren’t RAID, which matches their AHCI display. However, the homepage still lists them as RAID.
