this morning i opened my eyes to a broken computer, no display signal. i connected the hdmi to the motherboard instead of the gpu, and windows failed to start. i tried reinstalling drivers, but they didn’t install properly now. after updating windows, it still reported graphics drivers as incompatible. my gpu isn’t showing up in device list either—what might have happened overnight? how can i get this gigabyte 3060 ti setup working again?

Use the provided tool to remove the driver in safe mode, then reinstall it. Be sure to identify the underlying issue, as it could stem from malware or a hardware problem.

I've attempted to reinstall the GPU drivers, but the system reports no GPU detected during compatibility checks. Even though the graphics appear functional, it might indicate a problem or another underlying issue.

this morning i opened my eyes to a broken computer, no display signal. i connected the hdmi to the motherboard instead of the gpu, and windows failed to start. i tried reinstalling drivers, but they didn’t install properly now. i updated windows yet it still reports graphics drivers aren’t compatible. the gpu isn’t listed in devices, showing only a "pci device." i’ve completely removed all my drivers, and now i can’t add new ones because the system says it doesn’t recognize an "nvidia gpu" from gigabyte 3060 oc 12gb mbo. asus prime b560 plus with i5 10600k, psu, corsair 750w rm750x, 2021 ram, ddr4.

It worked yesterday, so you can try again. What exactly are you looking to do?

Download the driver from the provided link. When launching DDU, select safe mode. Once restarted, navigate to DDU options and disable automatic driver installation via Windows Update. Use GPU->Shutdown to install the new graphics card, then let the PC shut down. Turn it back on after installation. If you adjusted cables, verify connections before powering up. After Windows boots, install the downloaded Nvidia driver and restart.

still appears to use an unidentified GPU. I could try a fresh Windows installation to check if the issue resolves.

Remove drivers for the unidentified devices. Uninstall drivers, then power down and reinsert the GPU. Consider resetting CMOS while doing so. Disconnect the battery for five minutes while the power supply is off.
