you have factory reset options, reused the same pci-e slot with a new gpu, and cleared the cmos by touching the pins for about half a minute. despite these steps, your system still doesn’t recognize the gpu when installing drivers or checking in device manager. it seems there might be an issue beyond just the settings. could be a problem with the gpu itself, possibly due to manufacturing defects or improper installation. check the gpu connections and ensure everything is seated correctly.

You disconnected the GPU, cleared the CMOS by taking out the battery, and checked other PCI-e connections.

You've completed the necessary steps and the issue persists. It might be time to consider replacing some components.

I think I’m covered by the warranty for my GPU and motherboard. Unfortunately, I lost my motherboard case.

Can you test the GPU on a different computer?

Based on the details provided, it seems the issue likely lies with the GPU rather than the motherboard. The system shows lights but fans aren't spinning, and the PCIe connection isn't recognized. After resetting, no drivers appear to install properly.

After waiting 13 hours, it functions now? Thanks for your patience—I’m still trying to figure out what happened, but one of the steps you mentioned helped.
