Attempted the fix, but disabling the CSM only displays "no bootable media found" and stops the device. Resetting the CMOS and Embedded Controller didn’t help either.

The most unusual part is that the laptop no longer recognizes the USB stick or HDD at all. Before the HDD mentioned something about "Ubuntu EMI" during the boot devices setup in the BIOS. This has never happened before—typically laptops still boot from a USB even after the HDD is damaged or taken out.
