Get Malwarebytes 3 for free and receive 14 days of complete real-time defense. Once the period ends, it returns to a restricted version that only removes threats after an attack occurs. For better prevention, we suggest choosing the full real-time protection in Malwarebytes 3 Premium. copied from the website

The free version works fine, just use common sense. Avoid running executables from suspicious sites and keep UBlock Origin enabled on new pages. Have you considered restarting your router? It might be that your DHCP service isn’t issuing a lease.

I also attempted to restart my router, and Bitdefender was suggested by several review websites.

I figured it out, I’d attempted to add another antivirus, but it was just a test. I didn’t realize two antivirus programs could cause issues.
