I assume this means every cable features three connections, while the TV only has two.

Does your TV support Bluetooth or Wi-Fi? Have you attempted to link it using those technologies? What model of the 3070 Ti are you using? ... Your monitor is connected to the primary HDMI port, which typically has a label.

It's an audio one. No digits on the back, so I'm not sure. The TV doesn't have Bluetooth.

When you start it and connect the TV afterward, they assign the number 1 to the PC monitor and 2 to the TV.

I think your bios is having trouble extracting EDID data from the TV, right? Do you see a functional screen after a complete boot? There will be a default output, which would be the monitor you want connected. I’d suggest using the Dports for your monitor; I know my GPU defaults to DP0, but it isn’t necessarily NVIDIA. You might need some adapters—like converting DVI to HDMI—to help with this setup.

Even with the setup as described, the TV could be connected as your primary screen. Disconnect the TV, restart your PC, and then connect it to your GPU. Check if it’s configured to act as your main display. If not, you may need to manually set your monitor as the primary output. Some TVs struggle to receive the signal from your PC. After turning on your PC, try power cycling the TV to see if it successfully picks up the signal and remains powered on. I’m not trying to alarm you, but I faced the same issue with my ASUS TUF RX5700XT—only an RMA resolved it, indicating a possible GPU controller fault.

GPU verified. Uncertain about the precise problem, but replacement was necessary. Good news—I have that WARRANTY from a few years back.
