Determining the reason behind stuttering
Determining the reason behind stuttering
The issue seems to persist despite hardware changes, software updates, and driver fixes. I've replaced all components and tried multiple Intel CPUs, yet stutters continue. It might not be the hardware or power supply in my home. I've reinstalled Windows many times without success. If someone else is dealing with a similar problem, what should they check and do? My experience shows that even upgrading to newer models hasn't resolved the problem. Feel free to reach out if you have more details. 20250227_203158_1_1.mp4
Review the DDU and reinstall graphics drivers (including older versions) – verify you have all the motherboard drivers. Update the BIOS for the motherboard. Remove unnecessary software. Scan for malware or unusual applications. Transfer the game to an SSD. Reinstall Windows. Switch between Windows 10 and 11 versions. Evaluate performance on Linux. Test memory capacity. Assess storage health. Reconnect hardware (or try different slots). Inspect the motherboard and power supply for any visible issues, or connectors. Experiment with a different graphics card. Change the power supply unit. Adjust CPU settings. Based on these steps, it seems you've already tried most of them, so this might not be very useful.
MSI afterburner may lead to stuttering issues. In this clip, he achieves a 50-100% boost in 0.1% lows by turning off GPU power monitoring. If you're concerned, completely disable MSI hardware statistics tracking for safety. Watch the full video to understand what matters most.
It seems like this might be related to the BIOS or system settings. I've tried all the updates and hardware changes, but nothing has improved. Since I've used the same motherboard and even the same Gigabyte chip, the problem appears to be with the BIOS. I've also tested different CPUs, GPUs, and power supplies, so it likely isn't a hardware issue. It could be something in the BIOS configuration.
In the NVIDIA app preferences, the NVIDIA overlay feature is usually active by default. Disable it since it often leads to these performance issues.
I've tested various cables and monitors, but the issue remains consistent. Gsync stays disabled even after enabling it.
I don’t have the NVIDIA application set up. I only have the drivers from Page, the game, Windows updates, and MSI Afterburner installed. That’s everything currently on my PC.
