It seems Bunige is still talking about a PC release. Check the link for more details.

Bungie is focusing on four separate game versions and believes adding PC support would be too much right now. They didn’t explicitly rule out a future PC release, but for the time being it won’t happen.

You should have paid attention to the discussions in this thread. The positions of Bungie and Activision have shifted, becoming more receptive to new ideas. What was mentioned in April is no longer valid.

If it does I bet it has some stupid FOV of 60 or something like some other Activision PC ports.

What I said and posted is still relevant. I just stated why it isn't on PC right now. You're acting as if I'm ignorant or something. They may be more open to the idea, and I'm extremely glad that they are, but the fact still stands that for now there is no confirmed PC release of Destiny, and what I posted is still relevant.

He has a point. Many thought this was a Bungie 500-million project, supported by the consoles. That wasn't the case. Activision holds significant influence. They release titles for PC, understand the scale of MMO success there (like WoW/Blizzard). It will launch on PC regardless of Bungie's resistance. The Xbox One isn't performing well at all. This isn't a "CoD" title; it's a potential hit for PC. The Diablo expansion generated 3 million in sales within a week...PC gamers adore this genre, and companies like Activision prioritize profits. http://www.vg247.com/2014/06/14/destiny-...ssibility/ When the CEO suggests this would fit on PC, it's clear they're planning for its release. Activision isn't hesitating to invest heavily to strengthen consoles. They generate substantial revenue on PC and grasp the audience well.

Someone might wonder why Bungie would back out if pushed to move it to PC... LOL They're the same company behind ODST, aiming to meet MS's deadline as soon as possible.

If ODST is Bungie phoning it in, there isn't too much to worry about.
