DDR4 RDIMMs compatible with DDR4 Z790 boards
They say they use a server chipset, but I bought those motherboards around 2019 for an old Xeon build with RAM for testing. Even though the boards are identical, they installed different PC chipsets! I still have one of them, and it clearly has a H77 (SLJ88) chipset. Maybe chipsets aren’t that important now since CPUs support ECC and RDIMMs. Thanks for reading—I hope someone finds a good purpose for the hardware you have.
