I understand that the 24fps in movies comes from budget constraints. It hasn’t affected me much because what people do during editing is essentially a short film.

I rather not play a pretty terrible game IMHO. Nothing about Crysis makes me want to play the game. What was your point about Crysis though? Except 24fps for a cut scene looks nothing like a 24fps movie cos there is no built in natural motion blur that happens with cameras. 24fps for rendered videos are stuttery and jerky.

I believe pre-rendered cut scenes can feel abrupt, especially when the frame rate suddenly shifts to 30 fps. It doesn’t sit well with me.

It's a minor issue. 30 frames per second works just fine; lower speeds could be annoying. I'd prefer 60 frames per second even for videos.
