A 270x should stay close to a 760, though you might notice some extra variation

My lowest FPS is just a few points behind his, but it only reached that level a few times—it’s uncommon for me to see anything over 55 unless it’s very close to 60, which OP is pushing. I still use Vsync.

i’ve mostly covered high-quality shaders and textures. reflections are usually strong, and without MSAA they stay clear. grass and normal textures work fine, while other details remain unchanged. performance is solid at around 70-80 fps, but you’re seeing 50 fps in the apartment—possibly due to lighting or water effects. a sub at 57-65 fps seems acceptable for that setting.

i have a 760 too, and i have everything high only with reflection very high and ambient occlusion normal, AF x16, soft shadow softer, population variety and density 90%, but with fxaa on, and msaa off, 60fps always, sometimes goes to 55fps, i used this to choose what to turn high and normal and i used this nvidia guide too: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/...ance-guide i hope this helps Edited May 9, 2015 by IlDuceSaint

MSI was the most affordable option available, especially compared to PNY and Zocat. No original character appeared in this purchase.

I use a gigabyte windforce rev 2.0 without overclocking, and I reviewed my edited post. I added some details that might be useful, especially if you aim to highlight other aspects. Please note the changes made.
