Thin-skinned casual players won't understand. Your answer is straightforward—stop obsessing over rankings since they don't matter. The quicker you grasp this, the sooner you can fully enjoy the game.

Team Fortress 2, funniest shooter I ever played. Black ops 1, and 3 I suppose although I hate the jump to win feature. Dirt bomb is great too.

If you have a group of friends, why not play together in an MMORPG? Things like TERA or Elder Scrolls Online would work well. Since you're good at CS, maybe try another genre? You could also explore MOBA games such as Dota or League of Legends. I'm not sure, but MMOs seem like a solid option.

These games offer a unique experience since they break away from the typical linear format found in many first-person shooters. While respecting the strengths of games like TF2, I believe Overwatch could reduce its player base by attracting more competitive players.
