When I attempt to run CSGO in 4:3, the graphics card automatically adjusts its settings to keep the aspect ratio. What should I do to resolve this issue?

Activate Crimson and adjust scaling to full panel or center, not maintaining aspect ratio.

I still do that each time I launch the game, it adjusts the settings to keep it this way.

In Steam Library, right-click CSGO, open properties, navigate to the General tab, click Launch Options. For a 1920x1080 screen aiming for a 4:3 aspect ratio while maintaining vertical resolution, enter launch options: -w 1440 -h 1080. Restart CSGO, adjust video settings to 4:3, and set resolution to 1440x1080. Actual results may differ based on your monitor.

No, I'm just clarifying your setup. Do you prefer black bars, and are you using a 16:9 screen? Would you like the aspect ratio to be unstretched or stretched?

I don't mind the black bars, my monitor is 16:9 and I always set it to keep the aspect ratio Sad

You're asking why someone would choose a 16:9 screen for a 4:3 video, essentially stretching it to fill the wider aspect ratio.

It actually increases the target size in the game. Many pros use it, and I've gotten used to it... then there was an update: '
