Cpu voltage on mobo?
can't locate the option to reduce the CPU voltage on your A68HM-K motherboard
What processor do you have? It could be a locked model that doesn't allow modifications or overclocking.
So it's not a locked version because it has the "k" symbol. Are you sure you're in the BIOS? Probably just trying to double-check. The board you have is quite cheap, and the BIOS might not allow overclocking or adjusting CPU voltage.
It seems quite unusual, I'm not sure how to explain. If the motherboard supports overclocking, it should be capable of adjusting the CPU's voltage.
i'm not sure what to do next since i worry it might be causing the processor to overheat.

The board you have is quite inexpensive, and the BIOS might not allow overclocking or adjusting CPU voltage properly.
You're aware that the K label refers to Intel...
Anyway, you should turn off the turbo mode in the BIOS to be able to change the voltage. If you've already overclocked and turbo remains active, it will likely cause overheating.
look for the setting option to disable it, or adjust the switch to its default position.
