It seems the version isn't locked because of the "k" symbol. Are you confident you're using the BIOS correctly? The board you have is quite inexpensive, and the BIOS might not allow overclocking or adjusting CPU voltage properly.
You're aware that the K designation refers to Intel...
Anyway, the user needs to turn off turbo mode in the BIOS to modify the voltage. If you've already overclocked and turbo remains active, it will likely cause overheating.
What settings would you look for in the BIOS?
When accessing the overclock options, one of the initial configurations should resemble "AMD Turbo Core Technology" and be turned off.
